High Five for Friday!

1. Sunday involved pizza with Riley and Mackenzie and fabric selfies while shopping for some quilting materials.

2. At The Finer Things Club (book club), we celebrated Isabel's birthday! We had lemon cake, in honor of reading The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake.

3. The sunsets have been stellar this week.

4. I made this yummy pasta for dinner this week! It's a favorite in our house! Recipe found here

Tater Diaries, Part Two

Back Again

Every time I take a blogging break, I feel the need to justify it to my readers, but at the same time, I just shrug my shoulders. Being a blogger is an interesting thing without a doubt. Well, now I'm back in the swing of things after a 12 day hiatus (I did not realize it had been so long!)

These little things aren't much and may not seem very exciting, but oh how they bring me joy! After welcoming summer, I'm ready to get back on the blogging grind!

#taterdiaries

My best friend left me for two whole weeks. It has been four days and I have only cried about six times. I miss the heck out of her, but I suppose that she's allowed to go to France with her family and have an amazing time. However, I do prefer her here, with me. Luckily, she left me a little piece of her to keep while she's away.

I'd like to introduce you all to Tater. He's my favorite little wiener dog in the whole wide world.

He really loves me, despite that look of fear. I promise. 

So far, Tater has joined my family quite nicely. I actually don't think that he will want to go home because we sure do spoil the heck out of him. I started a little series on Instagram, #taterdiaries, because he's too fun. Here's what we've been up to so far:
