November 11// I am thankful for tennis. I've played since 7th grade and have always loved it. This spring will be my fourth and final on the high school team and that makes me so sad because it has been such a great experience. Several of my favorite high school memories are from tennis. The girls, for the most part, are great and it's so fun to get to be friends with girls that are in different grades. We show the younger ones how to make it a party because really, it is. Our coaches are great, except for when they make us scoop snow off the courts with our hands. I'm really hoping that this year we have better weather because last year it snowed so much that we had maybe ten outdoor practices total. Mack and I have been playing lately to stay on top of our mad skills. Lessons start up soon so that's always fun too. Tonight, we played with Ainsley, Mack's little sister, and her friend, Isabel. They're going to be on the team this year and know basically nothing about the game, so we taught them a few things. They were pretty clueless, let's be honest. But improvement will come!

PS: you better bet we listened to this song when we were playing
Today is one of those days where I feel like I've been extremely successful, because of all I've got accomplished and how well each thing has gone.
I went to school for my first two classes, physics and anatomy, and left and was at another nearby high school by 11 for CHSAA, a choir competition.
There, we scored straight 1s, which means we were superior in all categories! We sounded SO good, I am so proud of our choir:)
After that, I went straight to my tennis match, where I changed in the park bathroom and was able to sit for about half an hour and unwind. Then I went and won my match, which is probably the best feeling in the world.
Mackenzie and I there had a long conversation about how we spend so much money on food, and how ridiculous it's getting to be. We then proceeded to go to Taco Bell and get Baja Blast Freezes. But there (and in the park parking lot) we had the longest, greatest discussion about what we want with our lives, and what we hope for, and how we share a lot of similarities (like we didn't already know that;))
Now, I am home, getting all my homework done and out of the way. I just know tomorrow I am going to do great on my math and Euro test- positive thinking leads to positive results right?
And please, just listen to this song. It's the best ever. It's all Mack and I plan to listen to tomorrow.
I am so unexplicably happy that today is Friday. I plan on going to be before 10, and sleeping until 11. Time to play catch up on sleep... and AP Euro.
1. My new diet- Starbucks cream cheese brownie and green tea- either sweetened with peach or classic syrup. Tennis makes me a very hungry girl.
2. This Caroline G. Shop beauty came this week and I could not be more excited!
3. First tennis match of the season and we won 8-0! Love my French foreign exchange student partner, she is seriously the funniest person you will ever meet!
4. I go to the bathroom for less than a minute and I come back to find them playing with arrows, that have a nice sharp tip. So help me lord. They are the definition of double trouble!
I really wish this weekend was a four-day weekend like last weekend.
Oh well, it's my momma's birthday weekend!
1. When it snows as much as it (finally) did on Thursday, we should have had a delay or snow day! But nope, I still got to school at an early 7:15.
2. No homework=time to relax!
3. Donuts make me a happy girl.
4. The tennis season is starting! I'm loving that we're doing dresses this year versus the usual skirt and top. :) (excuse the awful quality of the picture)
5. Basically all I've been eating this week. I LOVE rosemary bread and goat cheese!
