Up All Night, the Sierra and Hannah Version

Last night was the big One Direction concert, and basically every preteen and teenage girl in suburban Colorado was there. Every teenage girl except for Sierra and I, that is. So while everyone else was screaming their heads off for five guys, we were screaming our heads off singing this song, drinking Icees, chia water, and lots of other much more fun things!

The night began at King Soopers, buying Sierra's favorite food, dry ramen noodles, and chia seeds. Because those two things most definitely go together;) We added some chia seeds to our water to create the most interesting concoction, chia seed water. Chia seeds have tons of health benefits. They are full of protein, iron, calcium, and tons of other minerals. The best part is they're flavorless, but they do have a gel-like texture when added to water. Sierra and I gagged at that for a while.

We forged on to 7/11 for snacks and slurpees. In my opinion, gas stations are the mecca of teenagehood (like my made up word?). You can get cheap food and cheap slurpees/soda so it's all good. Plus there's always interesting employees who are slightly frightening, but humorous because of how strange they are. (S/O to Patrick at Circle K) We then played the "passenger closes their eyes and has to figure out where we are" game, and Sierra was wonderful at.

For the next hour, we drove like creepers through neighborhoods, trying to figure out how to get from one main road to the other main road on the opposite side of the neighborhood. We were not as successful as we could have hoped for:(

Afterwards, we found a park and went to the playgroud. To be honest, it was scary as heck. There was no lights on and I'm fairly positive that something/someone was in a log on the playground. We sat on the coolest swing thing ever and had our own private One Direction concert. But then we went back to the car because it was creeping me out. The sound of the swings blowing in the wind reminded me too much of The Conjuring so it was time to peace out.

Because food is always good, we went to a fabulous restaurant that serves a global cuisine. It was very classy, and we were the only people there so we were treated like royalty. I must say, pancakes are just divine at 10:30pm. We're so lucky to have such a cultured restaurant that stays open late. ;)

Sierra and I then listened to music in my car for about an hour, and talked about boys, because you might as well when you're 17. We sang and talked a lot, it was just good. I love time with my lovely Sierra <3 We finally left and went home around midnight. It was quite the adventurous night, and we both agreed there's no way any concert could be as fun!
